Photos stay close.

The system photo picker gives Zili access to the photos you choose. The app creates a working copy on your device; your original photo stays unchanged. Drafts contain that copy, your words and editing settings. Your language preference is stored locally too.

Exported files do not automatically include the original photo’s location metadata. A photo or text you add may still contain personal information, so review your work before sharing it.

Zili has no app account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK or developer-operated cloud-sync service. We do not receive your local photo collection, drafts or language preference through the app.

A purchase, through Apple.

Optional Zili Plus purchases are processed by Apple. Zili uses StoreKit to verify your purchase entitlement on your device. We do not receive your payment card details or send your purchase history to a developer-operated server.

Apple manages transaction records under its own privacy practices. Purchases use the Apple Account associated with your App Store purchases.

You choose what leaves.

Saving to Photos requests permission to add the exported work to your photo library. If you decline, you can still use the system share sheet. Sharing sends the selected content to the app or service you choose; that service’s privacy practices then apply.

Storage and deletion

Delete a local draft by touching and holding it in your collection. Exports already saved to Photos must be deleted there separately. Removing Zili may delete its local drafts. Device backups, iCloud Photos downloads and your photo library follow your Apple settings.

We cannot remotely access or delete your local drafts, and Zili does not provide an in-app recovery service for deleted drafts.

A note about contacting us.

If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to send and use them to respond. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal photos. You may email us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable retention obligations.

This website

This website has no analytics, advertising scripts, cookies or contact forms. Its hosting provider may process standard request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the site. Email links open your chosen email service, which has its own privacy practices.
