Your first little secret
How do I make my first puzzle?
Choose a photo or try the sample. Add 1–5 English words, each 2–10 letters long. Adjust the photo, grid and circles, then try the puzzle yourself. Your work stays in local drafts.
How do I find a word?
Swipe from the first letter to the last, in either direction. Or switch to Tap and choose the two end letters. The first hint marks the starting cell; another hint reveals the word. Timing is optional.
Which languages does Zili support?
The app interface supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Change the language in Settings. The word grids currently use English A–Z words.
Sharing the feeling
What can I export for free?
Create, play, preview animations and export watermark-free images without purchasing Plus. All photo, word and circle tools and local draft management are included. Video and Live Photo exports require Zili Plus.
Can friends play the puzzle I share?
Friends can look for words in a shared image. Videos play the answer animation. Exported images and videos do not include Zili’s interactive swipe or tap controls.
Why did my Live Photo arrive as a still image?
Some apps do not preserve Live Photos. Save the work to Photos first and touch and hold to check it there. Use video when you want an animation that more sharing apps can play.
Why can’t I save to Photos?
Check that Zili has permission to add photos in iOS Settings. Make sure there is enough storage space. You can also use the system share sheet. If an export fails, try again with the app in the foreground.
Zili Plus & purchases
Is Plus a subscription?
No. Zili Plus is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase for unlimited video and Live Photo exports, without a watermark. There is no automatic renewal. Your local price is shown before you confirm the purchase.
How do I restore my purchase?
Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. Open Zili Settings and choose Restore purchases. You can also restore from the Plus page. If the store is unavailable, try again later; your drafts and free image exports remain available.
My purchase is waiting for approval. What happens next?
Plus unlocks after Apple approves the purchase and the app receives the transaction update. If you have left the Plus page, return and export when you are ready. Zili will not generate a file in the background without a new request.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles purchase billing and refund requests. Visit Apple’s Report a Problem page using the purchasing Apple Account. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, Plus access may be removed. Your drafts and existing exports remain yours.
Keeping your collection
Where are my drafts?
Drafts are saved locally on the device where you create them. Zili does not have its own cloud-sync service. Export anything you want to keep before removing the app or changing devices.
Can I recover a deleted draft?
Zili does not offer an in-app recovery service for deleted drafts. Check Photos or Files for anything you previously exported. Deleting a draft does not delete copies you already saved elsewhere.
